Bulgaria's Pamporovo Welcomes British, Irish Tourists for Ski Training
About 800 tourists form the United Kingdom and Ireland have arrived to Bulgaria's winter resort of Pamporovo for a ski training.

Half of the ski tracks in the resort are already opened in spite of the thin snow blanket.

A total of five machines that produce artificial snow have been put into exploitation so that the guests could enjoy not only skiing but also snowboarding.

Borovets opened the ski season with loads of snow

Heavy snowfall surprised all guests of the official ceremony for the opening of the new skiing season in Borovets on 21th December 2008. Ivan and Andrey (famous Bulgarian TV stars) welcomed all ski lovers in Borovets.

The start of the season in the resort was marked with a brand new high speed quad on “Markudjik” 2. The investment in the new equipment was estimated on 7 million BGN and was made by Borosport. It...

Wine festival was held in Bansko
The initiative was opened by the chairman of the National Association of Professional Sommelier Michael Markov, manageress of Vihren Palace Yuliana Hristova and the owner of tavern Molerite Malin Bistrin.

The season in Borovets will be opened with a brand new high speed quad

A brand new high speed quad will carry tourists to “Markudjik 2” in Borovets this season. The equipment is one kilometer long, with a capacity for 2400 tourists per hour and will be opened on Sunday when the official start of the season will be marked. The investment in the lift is 7 million BGN and was made by Borosport.
