Bansko gathers beautiful women from 17th until 23rd of March 2013. The pearl of Bulgarian ski resorts will host one of the most prestigious contests in the world, Miss International Tourism 2013. The purpose of the contest is to promote travel, cultural and historic landmarks in Bulgaria, as well as help the development of tourism initiatives.

Almost 100 snowboarders and skiers raced at the fourth edition of Pamporovo Freestyle open. Pamporovo hosted the starts in thee disciplines – Half-pipe, slope style and Big air for ski and snowboard. The award fund of 10 000 BGN was shared between the best riders in the individual disciplines. Georgi Peltekov is a national champion in the discipline Big Air. The weather in Bulgaria is good for tourism in the mountains on Monday, March 18, the Mountain Rescue Service with the Bulgarian Red Cross announced for FOCUS News Agency. Temperatures in the morning vary between -6°C and -1°C. There is weak to moderate wind in the high parts of the mountains.
The winter resorts are operating in line with the wintry conditions. The tourist facilities at the resorts are operating normally.

Borovets will host the National alpine ski competition for children. It will be held at the Popangelov ski slope (the ex. Yastrebets 2). Children will competed in the disciplines giant slalom and slalom. The race will be for children between 14 – 16 years from all ski clubs in Bulgaria.

Organizers ate the National ski federation and Borosport. The last day for applying documents is March 16, Saturday.

Pamporovo hosts \"Freestyle open\" for ski and snowboard disciplines in half pipe, slope-style and Big Air. Skiers from all age groups will participate in the competition.

This year the snowboard slope style and Big air are valid for the FIS rank and are organized in cooperation with the Bulgarian ski federation.
