Bulgarian Open Snowboard Cross and Ski Cross National Championship will take place on March 30 and 31 on the Popangelov (ex Yastrebets 2) ski slope in the winter resort Borovets.

Pamporovo ski resort invites all keen skiers to take another ski break on the slopes. The resort now offers special discount rates for accommodation and lift pass. Even more now is expected until the end of March.

The weather in Bulgaria is good for tourism in the mountains, except for the high parts where there are snow-drifts as a result of the strong wing over the past days, announced the Mountain Rescue Service with the Bulgarian Red Cross.
In some places the paths are slippery with ice and there is a risk of slipping and injuries. Snow-drifts have formed along the steep slopes and there is serious risk of avalanches.

Pamporovo registered 30 % increase in the number of tourists visiting the resort during the ski season, announced Marian Belyakov, head of Pamporovo JSC.

The winter season in the resort will last until April 14^th if the weather remains the same. The resort now offers special discounts reaching up to 30-40% of the regular price. The ski slopes are perfectly maintained and ready to welcome all keen skiers and boarders for another ski break....

Borovets registered fresh snow cover from Friday and Saturday. The temperatures in the highest parts of the Borovets ski centre will remain below zero during the next week. More snow is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday. Most of the ski slopes in the resort are operating and in perfect condition.
