The Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has declared his support for the potential construction of a second gondola lift in the mountain resort of Bansko.

Pamporovo ski resort boasts with 30 cm fresh now cover and excellent skiing conditions at all slopes. The \"Wall\" ski slope is currently closed due to preparation for the upcoming FIS world cup event which will be held next week.

All other ski slopes are opened and perfectly maintained. Skiers can enjoy sunny weather and great ski emotions at Pamporovo ski centre.

A French company plans to project an international resort in the region between Sapareva Bansya and Govedartsi. The project “Rila – destination” plans huge investments estimating around 600 million Euro. The new resort will offer 83 ski slopes with a total length of 155 km, which will be serviced by 27 lifts.

Thousand skiers waited for hours to use the lift for the Vitosha mountain. Less than a month after the official opening of the ski zone, keen skiers and snowboarders literary occupied the ski zone Aleko.

The resort needs to change the existing lift infrastructure with a modern and faster one.
