The heavy snowfalls all over Bulgaria during the past 3-4 days added fresh snow cover at the ski centres of Bansko, Borovets and Pamporovo resorts, providing perfect conditions on the ski slopes.

Borovets has opened more ski pistes.
Opened and perfectly maintained are the following pistes: Markudjik 1, Markudjik 0 (Suhar), Rila, Rotata, Iglika, Martinovi Baraki...
Borovets ski resort offers good conditions for skiing and snowboarding.
On the 20th of December /Saturday/ Borovets ski centre opened four ski pistes - Markudjik 1, Markudjik 0 (Suhar), Rila and Rotata, as well as ski lifts that serviced them.
There is good snow cover on the ski runs:
- Rila and Rotata ski runs – 15 cm;
- Suhar and Markudjik 1 ski runs – 25 cm.
The snow cannons are operating.
Bansko ski resort boasts with a good snow cover and perfectly maintained ski slopes.
The snow cover at Bunderishka polyana (1620 m) is 40 cm and at Todorka (1820 m) is 60 cm.
For advanced skiers are opened Plato 2, Ulen, Todorka, Balkaniada and Bunderitsa ski pistes.
The ski pistes for intermediate level - Shiligarnik 1 and Plato 1 are also opened.

It is now snowing all over Bulgaria!
There is a new snow cover in Bansko, Borovest and Pamporovo, reaching between 10 and 20 cm in the higher parts of the mountain.
The weather is cloudy. Temperatures are below freezing from -2 to -10 degrees, but the moderate wind makes it feel even colder.
So, it is expected that there will be sufficient snow for December 13 - the official opening of the ski season 2014/...
Borovets ski resort confirmed that the date of the official opening of the new winter season 2014/2015 will be on December 13th, 2014.
The snow cannons have already started to cover the pistes with an artificial snow. They will work during the next two weeks.
On December 13 Borovets will offer to its guests:
- lift passes with 50% discount;
- night skiing for free;
- ski and snowboard lessons...
