The ski season in Pamporovo resort will end in the middle of April, announced the head of the Rhodope tourist association.

The resort expects more skiers and snowboarders, mostly families with children during the upcoming spring break around Easter and May holidays.

At the end of the winter season Pamporovo offers lower prices and discounts for hotels and ski services.

Borovets ski resort will host the traditional FIS ski competition “Borosport” Cup on March 27 – 28, 2014.

Bansko ski resort will host the Open Bulgarian Snowboard Championship, part of FIS calendar. The Championship will take place from 29 - 30 March 2014. Guests of Bansko will enjoy the action-packed disciplines PGS (parallel giant slalom) and PSL (parallel slalom). Snowboarders from all over Europe are expected to participate in the competition.

A Bulgarian Championship for children will take place in Bansko during the period 24 – 26...

Starting from the 15th of March the one-day lift pass for all lift facilities is BGN 44.00 for adults and BGN 27.00 for children.

Morning half-day lift pass is BGN 24.00 for adults and BGN 15.00 for children, afternoon half-day lift pass: BGN 22.00 for adults and BGN 15.00 for children.

Borovets ski resort boasts fresh snow. The snow cover at Yastrebets ski centre is 120 cm, at Markudjik ski centre is 100 cm, and on the ski tracks and in the central part of Borovets the snow cover reaches 90 cm. The ski and snowboard conditions at ski centres are more than perfect.

Almost all ski runs are opened and fully maintained. The pistes of Sitnyakovo 2, Cherveno zname, Markudjik 2-A are suitable for free ride.
