Bulgaria\'s mountain resorts are good value according to studies of British tour operators, TV 7 reports.

The third place in the British chart is occupied by the Italian resort of Livigno, while fourth comes Austrian Ellmau. With a total of 12 cheap resorts, Italy and Austria were the countries with the most entries in the UK chart. On the other hand, skiing in Andorra and Switzerland became much more expensive, the study showed.

Two ski slopes in Bulgaria\'s Bansko resort are already opened for skiing, while the official opening of the season will take place on December 14. The grand opening will be held on December 14th, 2013.
Alpine ski legends like Alberto Tomba, Marc Girardelli, Luc Alphand, and Petar Popangelov will be among the participants in the show which will mark the season\'s opening.

Pamporovo marked the official opening of ski season 2014 today. The resort welcomed winter snow enthusiasts on perfectly groomed slopes with free lift passes. The resort will offer special promo rates for lift passes until the Christmas season – 21 December, 2013.

The residents of Dobrinishte are preparing for the second edition of the Snow Figures Festival. The first edition of the festival was held in March 2013 and gathered thousands of winter sport fans.

The organizers of the event promise to make the second edition even more exciting and prepare special surprises for all guests of the event.

A music scene will be placed in the centre of Dobrinishte, where all guest musicians will present...
